We are looking for an enthusiastic Livestock and General Farm Worker to join our close-knit team at Goodwood Home Farm.  In this key role you'll be looking after our 15 sow organic breeding pigs, finishing their outdoor unit and also helping with our dairy, beef and sheep.

This role also includes a House on the Goodwood Estate.

Set at the heart of the 12,000 acre Sussex estate, Goodwood Home Farm is one of the largest lowland organic farms in the UK. The farm nestles at the foot of the Sussex Downs and has soil which is mainly free draining chalk, ideal for the grazing of our cattle. 

In this key role, you’ll find no two days the same as you get involved in bedding cows and calves, mucking out, moving stock, fencing and tractor field work.

You'll provide our Butcher with a consistent supply of finished pigs on a weekly basis, whilst ensuring our pig unit meets the Soil Association and Red Tractor Assurance standards

What you’ll need:

• An in-depth understanding and passion for all farm-based food production
• Experience of working with outdoor pigs is essential
• Agricultural qualification, desirable
• Proven experience with a range of machinery, including tractors and telehandlers
• Full driving licence
