Harvey John are working with an established client based in Lewes on a new opportunity for a confident, hardworking, and technically capable Accounts Assistant. This is a privately owned organisation with a small finance team where you'll support the Finance Director by managing the company's sales ledger and all related finance tasks. As it' a small team, you'll also support the other Accounts Assistant when necessary.

This company has adapted well to this year's challenges and not made any changes to the finance team headcount. This year's results have remained pretty stable and this is following several record-breaking years which put them in a strong financial position. They can offer this individual good security.

Candidate requirements:

• Solid experience of managing Sales Ledger in previous roles and technical understanding of this area of finance
• SL reconciliations experience
• Experience of Credit Control
• Excellent communication and able to deal with internal and external stakeholders professionally
• Good computer software skills

AAT studies would be an advantage and study support is available post-probation. Candidates without AAT will still be considered.
