Harvey John is working with a highly reputable and well-known Brighton based organisation on recruitment of a Credit Controller. This is a newly created role to add to their expanding finance team, working alongside 1 existing experienced Credit Controller. The company are in a strong, financially secure position presently and able to commit to this role on a permanent basis.

Candidates need have solid existing Credit Control experience, ideally with high net worth individuals or corporate clients. Professionalism, diplomacy and tact are absolutely paramount here. The perfect candidate will also have knowledge of Sage and be comfortable reporting on aged debt including providing analysis / recommendations.

Overview of role:

• Credit Control via phone, letter & direct debit whilst maintaining utmost professionalism and tact
• Weekly aged debt analysis & review meeting
• Bad debt management (including preparation for legal proceedings)
• Daily preparation of banking
• Managing the resolution of all queries
• Deposit refunds
• Payment schedules
• Daily filing and annual archiving
• Assistance with the wider finance function
