Based in Guildford (Surrey) a firm of Solicitors with over 30 Partners are looking to recruit a Commercial Partner. Candidates will be expected to have some client following. The Commercial team cover all aspects of a commercial project, including structuring and the preparation and negotiation of contract documentation. They work with a large variety of businesses in terms of size, activities and legal requirements. The team work with in-house legal teams, procurement departments, finance directors, contracts managers and others involved in commercial transactions. Their clients operate in many sectors, including IT, food and drink, hospitality, pharmaceuticals, logistics and manufacturing. As well as contract work, they also advise on other legal issues that can affect businesses such as data protection and Freedom of Information Act issues, disability discrimination and advertising controls.
