First impressions really do count and you'll be the one making them!
In this all-new role, you will join a newly established not-for-profit organisation focused on three pillars: Art, Environment and Learning.
This is a unique opportunity for you to establish a completely new art education programme operating from our new woodland-based Learning Hub, and offering art education visits and experiences for primary, secondary and SEND schools.
As our Head of Learning you will be responsible for planning the delivery of workshops, activities and events, efficient budgeting, and ensuring that efficient booking systems and other processes and requisite policies are in place. Your key tasks will be appointing and managing a Learning Co-ordinator; appointing and managing a team of workshop leaders; overseeing the day-to-day smooth running of the Learning programme and the Learning Hub for the Foundation’s visiting schools and other groups; and maximising links across the wider Estate and with a wider network of cultural education partners.
You will take the lead on our effective marketing to schools; on impact reporting; and will support the Goodwood Art Director with learning funding bids as required. You will have the confidence to build and manage multiple stakeholder relationships, working with schools and education partners, and colleagues across the Goodwood Estate, championing learning across the organisation.
A valid driving licence and your own reliable transport is required due to our rural West Sussex location.
The Foundation has a mission to champion engagement with art, creativity, and connection to nature, and to deliver a creative learning programme for schools built around our annual art exhibitions and our beautiful natural surroundings.
Visits and workshops will be free to access for the children and young people who will most benefit. The Foundation aims to break down barriers to make art, art activities, and creative resources easily accessible, and will support children’s personal and skills development in a truly inspirational setting.
