The new role holder will be joining our National Distribution Centre and focused on providing exceptional service to our clients through the preparation and dispatch of orders. This is on a permanent basis working Monday to Friday, 14:00pm to 22:00pm.

Responsibilities:
  • Assisting the Dispensing Supervisor with staff resource planning and allocation
  • Ensuring customer orders are fulfilled in a timely and accurate manner
  • Completing return to work interviews for Dispensing Operatives in the absence of the Dispensing Supervisor.
  • Deputising and taking leadership in the absence of the Supervisor.
  • Motivating and encouraging teamwork to drive exceeding KPIs.
  • Assisting development and training of team members.
  • Cover a range of general warehouse duties including but not limited to dispatching orders, ordering stock, stock control and hand customisation of orders.
  • Working in accordance with the company’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and working instructions
  • Adhering to all company Health and Safety Procedures
  • Daily housekeeping of all warehouse areas to ensure working areas are kept neat, tidy and clean
  • Ensure that all services are provided in accordance with current legislation / NHS guidelines and Company process and policy
  • Continually look for, and suggest, ways we can improve the service we provide to Health Care professionals and our mutual clients

Required skills and experience:

  • Experience working in a distribution or dispensing environment
  • Evidence of people leadership skills
  • Keen to learn and focused on continuous self-improvement
  • An effective communicator with a passion for motivating and engaging others
  • Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to work in a high-volume environment
  • Committed to the goals of the department and meeting strict deadlines
  • Take initiative and ownership off all tasks, effectively problem solving
  • Basic computer skills (word, excel)
