Business Development Manager - Service Contract agreements

Joining a fairly young department, but highly successful, this is a new role to take responsibility for developing the after sales service business further across a global region.

Main Responsibilities

  • Supporting the Business Service Manager the BDM will be responsible for increasing year on year sales of after sales service plans.
  • Analysing market trends, and competition, the Business Development Manager will develop competitive service plans and contribute to the P&L
  • Increase the attach rate of enhanced after sales services on new product sales.
  • Target activity and performance using market trends and competitor analysis.
  • Identify new routes to market for sales service contracts
  • Ensure purchase routes and experiences for end users are flexible and easy to navigate
  • Support tender offers and bids for larger contracts
  • Support sales teams to ensure they have necessary tools to offer service plans

Required Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in selling contracts / service agreements
  • Previous proven ability in B2B business development
  • Longevity in career
  • Previous global experience
  • Ability to analyse data to identify trends and help make informed business decisions.
  • Able to travel internationally
  • Proven capability to work across complex supply routes to achieve goals.
  • Degree educated
  • Additional European languages would be beneficial
