Ecommerce Executive

£20000 - £29000 per annum + Benefits

Do you have previous experience within the insurance and e-commerce sector or have some broker insurance system knowledge with an interest in websites? An e-commerce department requires an Ecommerce Executive to take responsibility for delivering new insurance products and developments. As part of this role, you will be assisting with daily checks and tasks which ensure incoming data is processed efficiently. You will also assist with implementation of new and existing product changes and developments.

Skills/experience required

The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 2 year's experience preferably in an insurance role with the following;

  • GCSE qualifications in English & Math to equivalent of C or above
  • Strong numeracy skills
  • Good IT skills (The role involves using various broker insurance systems)
  • Proactive
  • Strong communicator
  • Attention to detail
  • Highly motivated

Key Responsibilities

  • Activation of new brokers and schemes
  • Assist with the testing of rates, documents and electronic data using a variety of software systems
  • Assist with ongoing maintenance of products to ensure optimum accuracy
  • Provide feedback
  • Support other teams with software system issues & queries
  • Assist with monitoring tasks such as daily electronic data and insurance submissions
