What does the role involve as Management Accountant?

• Maintenance of the books and records for a number of entities
• Preparation of quarterly management accounts
• Preparation of financial information for quarterly board packs
• Preparation of consolidated group and individual subsidiary financial statements under IFRS/US GAAP
• Coordination of the audit process
• Preparation of tax-related reports including corporate returns, VAT reporting and local tax compliance obligations as well as regulatory reporting
• Liaising with external tax advisers in respect of the preparation of computations for corporate tax returns
• Management of the accounts payable process
• Assisting in the budgeting and forecasting process
• Other adhoc work as and when required

What skills does the Management Accountant need?

• Accountant likely to have at least 5 years post qualifying or QBE
• High-value capital leasing experience beneficial but not a prerequisite
• Experience of Sun general ledger preferable
• Strong IFRS and/or US GAAP accounting principles is a must
• Experience in preparing quarterly consolidated management accounts
• Highly motivated individual with the ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines
