My client, a reputable and profitable manufacturing company near Gatwick, are looking for an experience Accountant on a permanent basis.

Reporting to the Financial Controller and working within a finance team of 4, this is a full-time (9-5) opportunity, which entails:

• Journal entries
• General Ledger
• EC Sales List
• Accruals & Prepayments
• Variance Analysis assistance
• Balance Sheet Reconciliations
• Assisting with management accounts preparation
• Overseeing AR, AP & Payroll activities
• Responsible for all cash management transactions

The ideal candidate for this ROLE WILL:

• Drive and own a car (due to the rural location)
• Be AAT qualified or be qualified by experience (several years' experience in a similar role)
• Have strong experience (over a number of years) in the above duties
• Have experience within a stock-focused type of environment (ideally for a manufacturing company)
• Be available in under a month's notice
• Have advanced Excel skills
