Our client is an established accountancy firm with an enviable reputation in the charity and nonprofit sector whose client base is growing, fast!

This is a new role working closely with the senior management in a diverse and busy role. The office is centrally based and just a short walk from Eastbourne train station.

About you:

• Possibly AAT qualified or studying for the qualification
• Have current or recent experience of working within an accountancy firm
• You don't necessarily need experience of working with nonprofit or charity clients but it's a sector you'd be keen to explore
• You may have some audit experience or at least be willing to gain some experience in this area
• First class communication and presentation skills

A full job specification is available for all shortlisted candidates with selected duties to include:

• Completion of financial statements for various small and medium sized charities
• Assisting with the audit of a small number of charity audits
• Drafting income tax and corporate tax computations and completion of tax returns
• Assisting Charities with their in-house accounting functions, including book keeping and financial management
