We currently have a vacancy for an experienced team member to join us as a Mechanic.

The successful applicant will need to have old school mechanics skills and be able to work mostly unsupervised to a high standard. We rebuild and modify a lot of stuff including changing diff ratios and installing diff locks.

We modify suspension setups and build everything from basic on road 4x4 vehicles through to custom high dollar ones. We only work on 4x4's we do not do cars at all.

You will be expected to have a reasonable basic tool kit. We will supply the more specialised stuff. We normally work a 40 hour week Monday to Friday, We value experience more than qualifications. You will be working in a small, busy business in a friendly, relaxed environment. Please note, we are happy to consider an older candidate.

In 1989, Surrey Off-Road Specialists Limited started out in a small industrial unit in Cranleigh, Surrey, specialising exclusively in 4x4 vehicle repairs and customising. Within a year the Company doubled in size, staff and units and continued to expand. We are currently situated in Dunsfold Surrey. 

We have established ourselves internationally. We work on most makes of 4x4 and have carried out design work and builds for the Ministry of Defence, Land Rover (Military and Government Division), Daimler-Chrysler, VW, Skoda and Mercedes-Benz. We do a lot of one off custom work and generally always have a project on the go.
