The role of Test & Business Analyst is responsible for helping to develop new solutions and further test the bespoke internal and external systems. The primary focus of the role will be testing and enhancing the internal systems, by building automated tests, maintaining technical documentations, and helping the business develop and improve new system processes.

You will help to implement an automated testing suite for existing and new development work and will be expected to work to best practice, deliver on time and continue to progress and learn within the role.

Working within the Test team, the role will work closely with the Development and Data Systems teams to ensure clear standards and requirements are met. The role will also be required to work closely with the business owners to understand new requirements and produce effective business and test cases.

Resource Management

• Deliver to defined timelines in order to meet business requirements

Essential Skills, Knowledge & Experience

• Minimum 2 years Automation Test Experience
• Manual testing experience
• Excellent knowledge of REST APIs, integration and testing
• Good knowledge of an automated testing suite, such as SoapUI.
• Knowledge of all aspects of testing, including security, mocking and load.
• Good Selenium Web driver Knowledge
• Able to understand business processes to develop use cases for testing
• Experience of CI environments
• Any experience of C#, HTML would be beneficial
• Great communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
• Experience working in Agile development environments
• Experience of interacting with key business stakeholders
• Able to create and prepare business cases and reports for presentation to higher level management
