Our client is a national charity, dedicated to raising awareness and providing support and information for those affected by bowel cancer. They are looking to recruit a Nurse to join their Patient Services team. Based in Teddington, Middlesex, they have air-conditioned modern offices with parking and shower facilities. This is an office based role and the majority of your time will be spent on the telephone or internet, providing information and support to patients, relatives and others affected by bowel cancer (or bowel cancer symptoms). You will also be responsible for the newly developed patient on-line forum, including regular review of the site, and taking part in 'on-line nurse open discussions' and advising those seeking information and support as necessary. Working with the Head of Patient Services in the identification of patient factsheet requirements and the production of patient factsheets. To apply, you must be a qualified nurse with colorectal nursing or oncology background. There will be lots of opportunity for the right person to grow and develop as a specialist nurse consultant as we move forward with the charity's work.
