Stock Controller required for this established manufacturing company in Guildford with previous stock control and ordering experience your duties will be to:

Be responsible for the ordering of stock for general sales and special projects from the parent company and several other small suppliers for specialist items.

On receipt of goods ordered, check against relevant paperwork and then book into the computer system (Pegasus Opera), any shortages or differences to be reported to the supplier.

Maintain stock levels in the warehouse ensuring that stock does not get below minimum levels set and monitor reorder levels.

Regularly assess stock holding to ensure that too much stock is not being held.

Oversee monthly stock take, investigate any differences and make adjustments where necessary.

Adhoc reports on stock, including non-moving, obsolete and general sales history.

Work closely with warehouse and accounts dept on a continual basis and liaise with office manager as well as the sales team, keeping relevant departments up to date with deliveries.

Other duties may include reviewing cost and selling prices of stock.
