This is a great opportunity to join a top 10 ranked accountancy practice in their busy central London office. This position is to join their Outsourcing, Finance and Accounting team. After a reorganisation of the team in January, they are now recruiting some key players to join this exciting new area of the business.

The role would suit an ambitious accountant with strong management accounts experience and around 12 months PQE.

The office is located in central London with the nearest tube station being Farringdon. The nearest overground stations are City Thameslink and Blackfriars, meaning that this role is easily accessible from various surrounding towns.

About You

• Should be ACA or ACCA qualified with ideally around 12 months PQE
• Minimum 3 years experience working in an accountancy
• Newly qualified candidates and finalists will be considered
• Likely coming from an outsourcing or accounts biased role
• Proven experience working on a client portfolio, in a client facing position
• Some experience supervising/mentoring trainees and juniors is advantageous
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP is essential
• Experience with or an understanding of MS Dynamics NAV is highly desirable
• Happy travelling to client premises
• First class presentation and communication skills

• Responsible for working on a portfolio of clients
• Preparing and overseeing the preparation of management accounts
• Manage the workflow of candidates and review their work
• Work closely with the Outsourcing Manager
• Assist in the setup of new clients, working with the Outsourcing Transition team
• Liaise with other departments as and when necessary
• Building strong relationships with clients
• Involvement in networking and business development, including cross selling
• Plenty of progression, to Manager and then Associate Director
