A growing travel organisation in Woking is seeking a Desktop Support Engineer, to work in a small IT team responsible for First and Second Line support for issues mainly involving Apple & Microsoft operating systems (XP/Win7/WIN8/WIN8.1/WIN10) alongside the MS Office suite of applications (2013/2016). You will need strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with people at all levels and work with a logical approach to resolving issues

Duties will be to provide first and second line support to internal staff and remote workers including configuring, testing and supporting a variety of phones (iPhone/iPad/Microsoft), desktops, laptops, printers, tablet computers & video conferencing, telephone system. You will be responsible for logging the issue onto a ticketing system and working through the problem to resolution. Upgrades and administration of Office365 including access, permission and Network share for new starters/existing users. You will be managing IT server room, IT inventory management, managing SharePoint sites as well as assisting with some Network and Infrastructure projects.
