Business Development Manager

Godalming, Surrey

£30,000 - £35,000 + car allowance (£5K) + benefits and commission

An expanding group of companies are looking to grow their sales team and are looking for a Business Development Manager to join an existing sales team to prospect for new clients by networking , cold calling to generate interest from potential clients.

Skills required:-

• Proven track-record in new business B2B field sales (stable career history)
• Full knowledge of the sales process
• Confident negotiator and ability to close the deal
• Strong client management skills
• Strong communication skills in all forms including written, oral, email, telephone, and presentation
• UK driving license with own car
• Beneficial if you also have:
• Background within construction recruitment or construction contracting
• Experience within Umbrella/CIS/Sole Trader Services sector
• Experience within a Limited Company (PSC) accountancy practice

The duties will entail, but will not be limited to:-

• Meet sales and financial targets set by the Head of Business Development
• Cold calling as appropriate to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities
• Pursue sales leads, and develop strong new business relationships
• Understand client needs, and match these with services
• Plan approaches and pitches.
• Work with the team to develop proposals
• Visit and meet with potential clients to manage the entire sales process
• Plan and prepare persuasive presentations and proposals to clients
• Negotiate, using the full range of sales techniques
• Close deals
