A top 10 accountancy practice are hiring new Management Accountants to join the Assurance and Business Services team at their Guildford, Surrey based office.

Over the last 6 months the Outsourcing services team has gone through significant growth as more and more client work comes in. Having reached their capacity despite recent recruitment, there are multiple opportunities available.

About you:

• Should be ACCA or ACA qualified
• 2+ years experience within Public Practice
• Excellent communication and relationship skills
• Determined to succeed and motivated by results
• Strong experience preparing management and statutory accounts as well as VAT returns
• Good understanding of legislative changes
• Experience with cloud based accounting software such as Xero or QuickBooks
• Have a clear customer focus
• Previous experience within industry is advantageous

About the role:

• Regular face to face client contact
• Preparation of monthly and quarterly management accounts
• Client turnovers will range from £5 million to £250 million
• Preparation of annual financial statements, including statutory accounts
• Attend to VAT registrations
• Use of computerised ledger system
• Close working relationships with other staff members and the Partners
