Our client manufactures a variety of products
for the construction industry; they are based in West Sussex and have a varied
and interesting line of products and services. They have an amazing opportunity for a Junior Engineer/Designer or recent Graduate to join their Project Design team who focus on providing contractors, manufacturers, engineers and architects with project specific
solutions to construction challenges

.Requirements:

Qualification
(degree or equivalent) in Engineering, Construction, Product Design or Civil
Engineering

Some knowledge
of the construction/ building industry OR the desire to work in this sector

Someone who is enthusiastic and passionate, strong communication skills to successfully liaise with clients, suppliers and internal personell.

Must be able to read engineering and construction drawingsCompetent
with AutoCAD - 2D minimum preferably 3DComputer literacy including Word, Excel, Outlook

Due to their location you will need to have your own transport

The Role:

This is a varied role which includes CAD drawing and detailing, take offs, estimating
and project administration

Producing 2D drawings and 3D CAD models for pricing, customer approval and manufacture

Speaking to customers to understand their specific requirements

Preparing quotations

Handling customer enquiries through to order delivery

Liaison with production department on both product design, methods of manufacture and
delivery schedules

Using a CRM system for project administration

Salary is circa £21'000 per annum depending on experience, there is a
generous company bonus scheme (based on personal and company performance), 20
days' holiday (plus Bank Holidays), good working environment/friendly team and
a contributory pension scheme. Hours are 8.30am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday.
