Surrey Off-Road Specialists limited started out in a small industrial unit in Cranleigh, Surrey. Within a year the Company doubled in size, staff and units and continued to expand.

These days we have established ourselves Internationally and have customers all over the world. We work on most makes of 4x4 and have carried out design work for the Ministry of Defence, Land Rover (military and Government Division), Daimler-Chrysler and Mercedes-Benz.

With our growth we now have a vacancy for a hands on team member to join us as a Mechanic / Welder.

HOURS

40 hour basic week with the possibility of overtime occasionally

EXPERIENCE

Should be able to work to a high standard and be motivated. Will be able to help with design input and will need to be able to work mostly unsupervised. We are a small family business specialising in 4x4 vehicle design and fabrication. We are also starting to work in the marine area, primarily RIBs.

Primary job will be mechanical repairs which will range from servicing through to fitting equipment onto 4x4 vehicles and then when Mechanic skills are not needed, the successful applicant will need to be able to carry out welding work.

QUALIFICATIONS

An Experienced mechanical background essential and also experience TIG and MIG welding.

Mechanical qualifications ideal but not essential.
