Implementation Consultant -Payroll
£28000 - £30000 + benefits
A payroll consultant is required by this expanding company with good payroll legislation knowledge, client facing experience and either implementation or personnel consulting background.
The Implementation Consultant will work with internal departments in the implementation of client payroll systems and provide transitional support to the Managed Service Team for new implementations and the field based implementation team.
Key duties will include the coordination of data migration, parallel and first live runs with client and implementation team, Assist in the analysis of clients' payroll needs to establish specific calculation rules, reporting and interface requirements, Assist in the development of project plans using Microsoft Project in consultation with Project Office, Assist in the compilation of a Functional Specification detailing each payroll element, its calculation and usage, payslip description, reports, electronic output/CSV file and interfaces, Assist in the completion of a Payroll Procedures Manual in conjunction with MS and the client, detailing the format that data will be received in, deadlines, process flows, payroll-processing schedules etc.nAssist Implementation Consultants to obtain formal client sign off for the Project Plan, Functional Specification and Payroll Procedures Manual and Assist in the migration and mapping of data.
Previous implementation and payroll legislation knowledge is essential to be considered for this role.
